When working inside the Listing Editor, you’ll notice a set of colored indicators next to each keyword under the columns labeled T, F, S, and D. These letters help you quickly identify where each keyword appears in your listing.
What Each of TFSD Letters Means
-
T = Title
-
F = Features (bullet points)
-
S = Search Terms (backend keywords)
-
D = Description
How to Read the Colors
-
Green means the keyword is used in that section.
-
Orange/Yellow means the keyword is partially matched or less optimally used.
-
Gray or blank means the keyword is not currently used in that section.
For example:
-
If a keyword has a green box under "T", that means the keyword appears somewhere in your title.
-
If "F" and "D" are gray, that means it's not currently used in your bullet points or description.
Why This Matters
This color system helps you:
-
Track your keyword usage at a glance
-
Avoid keyword stuffing (using the same term too many times)
-
Spot missed opportunities to include high-value keywords
Pro Tip
Use the eye icon in the keyword list to hide keywords already used. This helps you focus only on the terms you still need to work into your listing.
Reminder: You don't need to use every keyword in every section. Focus on placing your most important keywords in the Title and Features, and use others in the Search Terms or Description as needed.
